The value for money was exceptional at A Hilltop Country Retreat Villa. The room was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities you could need. The location was stunning, surrounded by mist-covered mountains and close to historic houses and great restaurants. The staff, especially Jane at reception, were friendly and helpful.
On the breakfast selection, it would have been better if a cooked breakfast was provided instead of having to cook it ourselves.

I really enjoyed my stay at this budget-friendly retreat. The accommodation was very good, with stunning views of the mountains and valley from the windows. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The staff were extremely friendly and the service was great. I also liked the easy walk just around the corner from the house, perfect for some outdoor exploration.
The kitchen utensils were worn and old.

We had a fantastic stay at this retreat! The rooms were clean and spacious, with extra comfy beds that ensured a good night's sleep. We loved the well-equipped rooms, which had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The luxurious self-catering facilities were a real bonus, with the option to have meals delivered right to our room. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the beautiful gardens added to the overall ambiance.
There were a few minor issues. The rooms were not well-insulated, so we could hear noise from neighboring rooms, which was a bit disruptive.

Warm welcome, well-equipped room, great for a longer stay. Upgraded to spacious two-bedroom house, perfect for traveling with baby. Quiet location, easy access to restaurants. Pool, towels, sun loungers provided. Immaculately clean, cute decor. Extra touches like sherry, unlimited wood, housekeeping. Honesty bar a nice touch. Friendly and professional hostess. Honeymoon suite with pool view and luxurious bathroom. Helpful staff. Loved it!

Great spacious rooms and clean bathrooms. the swimming pool was a highlight, perfect for the kids to splash around. the fact that there were different compartments on the same premises was really convenient for us, as we were traveling with another family. the attention to detail was impressive, with wood already provided for the braai.
The location was the biggest disappointment. We were expecting a countryside retreat but instead found ourselves on the outskirts of town.

Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and even upgraded us to a bigger room! the rooms were well equipped with everything we needed, and the beds were super comfortable. the location was perfect, with stores nearby and a hiking trail right outside. It was the perfect spot for a quiet and relaxing getaway!
The WiFi could have been better, but it may have been due to load shedding. it wasn't a major issue and everything else made up for it.
